Kamusta pamilya,

It was so great to talk to you and hear your voices on the phone!! It’s great to know that you are all doing good and staying busy and engaged in life. The next time I get to hear your voices it’ll be face to face!
Anyways this pass week went good although one of my favorite investigators, Noemi Napuno, dropped us. She was so great. She came and absolutely loved general conference, and loves learning about the prophets from the Book of Mormon. We also had to let go of a few of other investigators as well this past week but Sister Paz is still doing great and amazing. We have an FHE scheduled with her at a members house tonight so that will be a lot of fun!
Today we had a zone activity and hiked up in some caves! It was really fun. At one point in the caves we had to do the army crawl in order to continue forward as well as walk through water that was waste deep and pull myself up in a certain situation. Inside the cave were some bats, a dead dog, and the skin of a really long snake! It was a lot of fun. It was great to see more of the Guimaras island that I’m on.
Last Friday we had a community service project. The liahona foundation came to Guimaras to do a screening for all the kids. We went to help. I helped with all the children. It was a pretty great turn out. The screening was for all kids between 6 months and 5 years old. They take the height, weight, and age of a child and they can determine if the child is mal-nourished. If the child was mal-nourished then they qualify for a program to help them get nourished. It was pretty interesting and of course most of the kids came out mal-nourished. It was great to help and I enjoyed it very much.
This Wednesday I will be going to the eat- all- you-can mango festival so I’ll let you know how it goes.
Love you all so much!! I pray for you always!!
Sister Jensen
